Found!
We are going camping this weekend, our first camping trip since we became parents. Although the campground is beautiful and luxurious and coastal, we are fortunate in that it is an hour away from home, forty miles as the crow flies from our house westward towards the Pacific.
I spent the entire morning searching for my sleeping bag. In the end, where would I find it? In the garage, in a tall box with the words written on the side in a black Marks-A-Lot:
WELDING JACKET
+
WEDDING DRESS
Of course!

I'm dying to know how it was. Update! Update!
I tried a few weeks ago to get a reservation at the Treebones "Resort" in Big Sur. They have a tent camping campground, but the draw for me was an ocean view yurt.
I get to go in November. That was the earliest opening. Ah well.

I found your blog while searching for Austin images. My husband and our 7 month old are looking to root somewhere and that seems like it could be THE place. I just have to say we share many similarities it's quite remarkable...even our spouses. I also laughed my ass off about the circuit board blog...I thought we were the only ones. We have moved around almost every year for the past seven and I'm really done with it. California is a difficult place to buy so we keep hopping. Your photos are magical and your blogging is very real. If you ever have time to write me about Austin I would really appreciate it. Cheers to you and yours:)
