SPT All of Me :week 2

Img 1450

One of those neverending, nagging summer days alone at home with the boys. I have a negative default response to stress that, over time, has begun to improve. It takes work for me to think positively. It's important to be positive for your children. They learn to cope by example. I'm unlearning, rewiring my brain.

At 4:12 AM???? You deserve some morning sleep. I like your brain just like it is, but I can understand that you want to improve, you expect perfection and will continue to reach for it. Steph you are wonderful just as you are. Rest.

You have the most beautiful eyes!

And yes--children do learn from us. I already notice: when my voice gets loud, my son's does. When I act addled, he gets hyper. Having a child has made develop a whole new sense of self awareness...

You have beautiful green eyes. :) I can have a negative reaction to anything when my stress increases. I have to remind myself that I'm a thermostat and set the temperature for the day and not a thermometer that only mesaures the tempreature at that moment. :) I have to remind myself of that a lot!
